Privacy Policy — certification.support
Last updated: June 8, 2026
certification.support exists to help you navigate product certifications — not to collect your data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. If you have questions, contact us anytime.
What Data We Collect
Information you provide: When you use our contact form or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name, email address, and any message you send. We use this solely to respond to your certification questions and to send you relevant updates when you explicitly opt in.
Information collected automatically: Like most websites, we collect basic analytics data — pages visited, time spent, browser type, and referring website. We use this to improve our content and to understand which certification guides are most helpful to our readers.
Cookies: We use minimal cookies for basic functionality (session management) and analytics. We do not use tracking cookies, retargeting cookies, or third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data for three purposes only:
- To answer your certification questions when you contact us
- To send you certification guides and updates (only if you subscribed)
- To improve our content based on aggregate usage patterns
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build profiles for commercial purposes.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We retain contact form submissions for 12 months, then delete them. Newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe (which you can do at any time via the link in every email).
Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise these rights, contact us. We will respond within 30 days.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics (anonymized, privacy-compliant configuration)
- Fluent Forms (form submission handling)
- Cloudflare (CDN and security)
This site is hosted on servers that maintain SOC 2 compliance.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the changes here and update the “Last updated” date. Significant changes will be communicated via our newsletter.
